However, for Parichay being a MVC project - for using Parichay as a sub-module (Parichay with another part of my website) there will be more of configuration needed rather than copy-paste of solution to specific directory. This will depend upon the level of expertise you have towards.Net applications. It is very difficult to advise without the proper description of target environment. Rejibabu 15-Dec-13 19:44 15-Dec-13 19:44 Sir i need ur help to solve a bug found in the project during executing the bug i got is attached below: MvcSocialNetworkApp.Security: unable to get application; operation failed with error 'Named query not known: Application.ByLoweredName'. Hello, Can I know how are you installing the database? There seems to be some issue with creating the database. Privacy and TargetUrl are the columns in member_posts or member_messages tables. Can I know which IDE are you using? Is it SSMS or []. Please check if the database is created properly. Please notice that the very first line in the provided DBScript is 'Use ParichayTest'. This assumes that the database you are creating for testing the package is 'ParichayTest'. Please rename the database to your desired database. If you have created the database as 'create database abctest'. Then change this line to 'use abctest' and then execute the complete script. Or run the script by opening the query editor on same database, delete the first line (Use ParichayTest) and then execute the script. Is it possible for you to drop and re-create the database? And if there are any errors please let provide it here so that the Database creation script can be updated accordingly. I will try to test the script again. Thanks & Regards. Hello, Yes actually the two tables [member_posts] [member_replies] are included with the DBScript in Parichay-v1.1.0.zip. The schema for Parichay v 1.0.4 and v1.1.0 is different. For Parichay-v1.1.0 database has to be created afresh using the script included in Parichay-v1.1.0.zip. Old database script works with older version only. Thank you very much for testing the code and reporting the issues. If you find the code useful and would like to complete/add additional features, please join this project at CodePlex. Best Regards. Hello, Weird thing but if I opened the solution in Visual Web Developer 2010 SP1 everything was working properly (except compile error): The type 'System.Web.Mvc.ModelClientValidationRule' exists in both 'c: Program Files (x86) Microsoft ASP.NET ASP.NET MVC 3 Assemblies System.Web.Mvc.dll' and 'c: Program Files (x86) Microsoft ASP.NET ASP.NET Web Pages v2.0 Assemblies System.Web.WebPages.dll' C: Users Administrator Desktop Parichay Parichay.MVC Controllers Helpers EmailAddressAttribute.cs. When I removed System.Web.WebPages.dll reference there was no compile error - I don't know whether this dll is necessary but removing it was the simplest solution that worked for me. However, I'm getting the error if I open the solution in Visual Studio 2012. The code goes to BaseController.GetObjectData method and at the fourth time it goes to the end of the block and immediately goes to Global.asax.Application_Error method caused by the exception I mentioned. I have enclosed its stack trace: at System.Security.Claims.ClaimsIdentity.
